On January 2011, a new group of artists started working in Mamuta at the Daniela Passal Art and Media Center Studios: Asya Lukin, Ohad Givaty, Shavit Yaron, Ayelet Lerman and Dudik Oppenheim alongside four artists who received time extension to continue developing their projects: Tamar Shippony, Guy Yitzhaki and Amit Drori. Yitzhaki and Einat Amir, will develop a joint project at the center as well.
Ohad Givaty– Graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Screen Based Arts Department, 2010. Working on a docu-animation project in classic animation.
Asya Lukin– graduated from the Rotal College of Art, London 2009. Jerusalem’s Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Arts Department 2000. Working on an animation project based on one of Agnon’s stories.
David Oppenheim– a working artist and lecturer, graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, visual communications department. Developing new objects.
Shavit Yaron– graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Arts Department 2010. Working on an art project in Ein Karem’s public space.
Anat Vaknin Appelbaum– graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Video and Photography department 2007. Working on a photography and prints project dealing with Ein Karem’s natural environment.
Ayelet Lerman– graduated from the Visual Theater School 2010. a musician and artist, working on a project which combines sound and plastic art.
Tamar Shippony– graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Arts Department 2009.Working on a solo show that will be exhibited at Mamuta in May 2011 and will include video art and installations.
Guy Yitzhaki– graduated from Musrara’s photography department, working on a joint video and prints project with the artist Einat Amir.
Amit Drori– a working artist and theater director. Developing aspects for his new object-theater piece “Savanna”.
