הספר “*הערה” שערכתי יחד עם סלה-מנקה כולל אוסף של עדויות, מחשבות, פרשנות ותיעוד של אירועי ״הערה״, וכן גליונות של “הערת שוליים”, כתב-עת עצמאי לאמנות עכשווית וספרות, שיצא במקביל לאירועים והיה חלק אינהרנטי מהם.
בספר מופיעים מאמרים מתוך הגליונות לצד מאמרים שכתבו אמנים וחוקרים ישראלים במיוחד לקראת פרסומו, וכן יצירות אמנות שהיו חלק מהעשייה האמנותית של “הערה”. אירועי האמנות וכתב-העת פעלו בירושלים השסועה ומוכת היגון של עידן הפיגועים, מחוץ לחללים הקונבנציונליים של השדה האמנותי וללא שיתוף פעולה או מימון של המדינה, והצליחו ליצור חיבורים מרתקים בין אמנים שפעלו במדיומים שונים – אמנות חזותית, תיאטרון, שירה, וידיאו וסאונד. הם היו פלטפורמה לצמיחה וביטוי של מאות אמנים שיצרו עבודות מרגשות ובלתי צפויות, מעוררות השראה ומחשבה. – רונן אידלמן.
הספר בעריכתם של רונן אידלמן וקבוצת סלה-מנקה. הספר בוחן ומסכם את אחת התופעות המרכזיות שהתרחשו בירושלים, ועוררו מחדש את סצנת האמנות בירושלים בעשורהראשון של שנות האלפיים. בספר תיעוד ומאמרים חדשים על אירועי האמנות “הערה” ועל כתב העת “הערת שוליים” . בספר מאמרים מאת: ענת דנציגר, פיל וגליה קולקטיב, איתמר ב״ז, ג׳קפאבר, גדעון עפרת, דליה מרקוביץ, הדס עפרת, מושון זר אביב, אלברט סויסה, רונן אידלמן, אפי ואמיר ועוד.

The book includes articles, documentation and a catalog of the Ethnographic Department of the Museum of the Contemporary. It is the fruit of a long-term project carried out at the Mamuta Art and Research Center and curated by the Sala-Manca Group. It contains articles by Yoram Bilu, Rachel Elior, Freddie Rokem and Diego Rotman on the Dybbuk; by Galit Hasan-Rokem and Daphna Ben-Shaul on Sukkot, and on the Eternal Sukkah project; by Shalom Sabar on electric Shabbat candles, and by Lea Mauas and Diego Rotman on different art projects. The book also includes documentation of artworks and a project by Itamar Mendes-Flohr, Yeshaiahu Rabinowtz, Ktura Manor, Hannan Abu Huseein, Reuven Zehavi, Sala-Manca, Samuel Rotman, Shira Borer, Nir Yahalom, Chen Cohen, Pessi Komar, Adi Kaplan, and Shahar Carmel, among others.
