Description
Through five illustrated stories, Nino Biniashvili tells in her graphic novel about the Black Sea coast, the Georgian ethos, and the cultural heroes she grew up with. The book begins with a story that starts during the crucifixion of Jesus and ends many centuries later. In between, and throughout the various stories, an allegorical world is briefly unfolded—mysterious, ancient, and dark. Each story introduces different characters: rulers, saints, artists, and warriors, who come together to form a captivating Georgian epic.
