Intersections at JFF 2026

We are (still) living in times of uncertainty, violence, war, and profound challenges – within ourselves, our immediate surroundings, and across the globe. During such a complex period, imagination and unconventional thinking are undoubtedly essential to finding alternative paths forward. This is exactly what the Intersections Program has to offer:
Unique artistic selections featuring artists who explore alternative forms of cinematic expression, pushing beyond conventional narratives.
Dive in with us and explore cutting-edge experimental cinema and video art from our region, such as the Experimental Cinema and Video Art Competition, alongside a special program spotlighting Palestinian video art and short films from recent years; iconic video art by pioneering female artists Ulrike Rosenbach and Mara Mattuschka, and a unique video installation by artist Daniela Meroz, hosted at the Mamuta Art and Research Center in collaboration with the Jerusalem Design Week.
The Intersections events and competition were established by the Ostrovsky Family Fund and are produced by the Mamuta Art and Research Center.
