“Memzer” was created to give a platform to the works of students from Jerusalem, exploring a variety of mediums, and to encourage collaboration between them.
This issue was designed to create a space that holds different works, with their connection bringing together a range of contemporary perspectives on the absurd, aiming to explore a new, flexible definition of it.
The collection has come together as a cohesive whole, not forcing a single style or idea onto the works, but allowing them to exist side by side in their diversity.
