Description
“The book includes eighteen folk tales from Eritrea and Sudan, alongside drawings I created inspired by them. In 2015-2016, I collected the stories through many meetings and conversations I had with Sudanese and Eritrean refugees, who currently belong to the two largest communities of asylum seekers in Israel. I met these men and women and got to know them through the stories they shared with me in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and the Holot detention facility in the Negev.” Elham Rokni
This artist’s book is also a classic collection of folk tales.
