Double feature – Yael Dushy and Agustina Morellatto will perform medieval vocal music (12th–13th centuries): songs from across Europe, drawn from contested traditions of dance and procession within church spaces, alongside hymns, blessing songs for the new year, and music marking new beginnings.
Tom Ambache Klein will perform Long Bows — a composition for solo cello that imagines the resonance of the voice within a church space in a contemporary, meditative context. Klein is a composer and cellist whose body of work includes pieces for ensembles, music for dance, site-specific works, and improvisation.
