He studied art in Vienna and Weimar and currently works on his PhD at the Department for Visual Contemporary History at the University of Vienna, dealing with post-genocidal identity constructions of third generation Shoah survivors between anti-Semitism and philo-Semitism. After working with American theatre director Robert Wilson, Ergun became involved more with contemporary art, specifically video and performance. He has exhibited internationally at institutions including Platform Garanti (Istanbul), KIASMA Museum of Contemporary Arts (Helsinki), Sparwasser HQ (Berlin), Digital ArtLab (Tel Aviv), Museum of Contemporary Arts Taipei, Casino Luxembourg, Art in General (New York), and Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam. His video works are also screened at film festivals, including Oberhausen, Rotterdam, Sydney and Zagreb Film Festivals. Since 2006 he is the president of Austrian Artists Association \u2013 IG Bildende Kunst. In his artistic work,\u00a0 Krenn explores and probes socio-political subjects, focusing on strategies and methods of resistance to the governing relations of power. In this, he makes use of different media, mainly photography, video and internet and realizes his projects in the form of expositions , web, and interventions in public space. Martin was in Mamuta in the frame of a cultural exchange between austrian and israeli artists.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014-<\/p>\n<p>Katharina Morawek, a Vienna based artist, activist and art educator will talk about her PhD Thesis, which deals with politics of visibility of feminist movements, sexuality in public and the private space of the street.\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Kati<\/span> has been working primarily in collective contexts and is teaching cultural studies and ethnography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Since 2005 she is a coordinating editor of the bi-monthly independend magazine MALMOE, which is dealing with culture, politics and questioning \u201cneoliberalism of the mind\u201d.
